Deadline for East KY Hay Contest
Event Description
It's been a rough year for hay so you may think your hay isn't that good this year. But.... it's still a great year to get your hay tested! Granted there are some bragging rights that come from winning the contest, but the real reason that we have hay tested is to determine the nutritional value of the hay. That is especially important if the hay quality isn't the best. Having the nutritional analysis allows you to determine the additional feedstuffs that are needed for maximum animal performance. Participating in the free East KY Hay Contest can lead to reduced feed costs. Beef and equine producers can also receive free basic rations with their results.
Other producers will not see your results. (Unless you win - the winning RFQ values are announced.)
