Event Description
Join us for our monthly Hike & Learn series!
Wear closed-toe shoes and bring your own snacks & drinks. You may want an extra pair of shoes to change into after the hike.

March 21 - Carter Caves State Resort Park - Meet at the picnic tables to the left of the Welcome Center.
Horn Hollow Trail & Cave Tour - Approximately 2 miles (If high water prevents us from touring the cave, we will only be hiking the trail.)
Difficulty: Moderate
Please bring a flashlight for the cave tour.
April 21 - Carter Caves State Resort Park - Meet at the picnic tables to the left of the Welcome Center.
Natural Bridge Trail - Approximately 3/4 mile
Difficulty: Easy
After the conclusion of the hike, park staff will lead us on a stream stomp. We will be looking for aquatic macroinvertebrates and discussing how they are water quality indicators. (You will probably want waterproof shoes, a towel, and possibly a change of clothes.)
